In addition, LaVieTara is a ideal destination for both single travellers, as for families or a small party. The venue offers a perfect balance between relaxation and adventure, suitable for both young and old.
A unique location in the middle of nature
LaVieTara is a monumental accommodation, surrounded by one hectare of nature, with a tennis court, a mountain spring, a large lawn, a herb and vegetable garden and several hiking trails. You can go straight into the forest for a refreshing walk to a mountain stream, waterfall or panoramic viewpoint.
Here you can break away from the daily hustle and bustle and enjoy the peace and quiet of this special place.
You can also receive expert naturopathic guidance, such as bioresonance, iriscopy and Bach flower therapy, if required.
Our creative chef prepares with love healthy meals of organic and local produce.

About the environment
LaVieTara is a five-minute walk from Lalouvesc, a picturesque pilgrimage village in the Ardèche, also called Little Lourdes. It lies at an altitude of 1080 metres and offers fantastic views on the surrounding area, through which more than 200 kilometres of hiking trails run.
As such, the village carries the Centre Climatique designation because of its pure air and relatively less hot summers, with no mosquitoes or wasps.
It is a ideal spot for relaxation and peace in nature, with a small river in which you can bathe (feet), a huge network of hiking trails and an abundance of blueberries and mushrooms.

Transport & accessibility
Own transport:
From Utrecht, you can reach LaVieTara within 11 hours. We have private parking on our premises.
Train:
Like the plane, the TGV will take you to Lyon St Exupéry.
There you can travel by tram to Gar Par Dieu.
From there, you can get to Annonay by bus or train.
A bus leaves from Annonay to LaLouvesc, but we can also pick you up if you call us an hour in advance.
By plane
KLM operates a direct flight from Amsterdam to Lyon St. Exupéry.
