LaVieTara is a healing inn, where everything is focused on the well-being of guests. With love and passion, our creative and versatile chef prepares healthy meals with organic and local products to suit your group's needs.
LaVieTara is a supportive location to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The building has a special energy and sits atop a mountain, in an energetically powerful place. The beautiful chapel is a ideal place For yoga, retreats and other group gatherings.
On the acres of land it monumental surrounding the building is its own mountain spring, a large lawn, herb and vegetable garden. You walk straight into the forest, for example to go to a mountain stream, waterfall or a beautiful viewpoint hiking on well-marked routes.
Traditionally a place of reflection, where the power of silence, nature and spiritual energy support you to arrive at rest and in balance to come. If required, you can also get expert naturopathic guidance on site, such as bioresonance, iriscopy and Bach flower therapy.
About the accommodation facilities:
LaVieTara is suitable for 43 people to accommodate. There are two dining rooms, two rooms for meetings, a massage room, quiet room/library and surrounding outdoor areas of the estate, such as a lawn, vegetable garden and a food forest. The cook is permanently present. There are several one-two or family rooms, shown on the price list below.

About the environment
LaVieTara is a five-minute walk from Lalouvesc, an adorable pilgrimage village in the Ardèche, also called Little Lourdes. It lies at an altitude of 1080 metres and offers beautiful vistas on the surrounding area, through which more than 200 kilometres of hiking trails run.
As such, the village carries the Centre Climatique designation because of its pure air and relatively less hot summers, with no mosquitoes or wasps.
It is an ideal place for relaxation and rest surrounded by nature, with a river in which you can bathe (feet), a huge network of hiking trails and an abundance of blueberries and mushrooms.

Transport & accessibility
Own transport:
From Utrecht, you can reach LaVieTara within 11 hours. We have private parking on our premises.
Train:
Like the plane, the TGV will take you to Lyon St Exupéry.
There you can travel by tram to Gar Par Dieu.
From there, you can get to Annonay by bus or train.
A bus leaves from Annonay to LaLouvesc, but we can also pick you up if you call us an hour in advance.
By plane
KLM operates a direct flight from Amsterdam to Lyon St. Exupéry.
From the airport, you can take a tram to Gar Par Dieu.
From there, you can get to Annonay by bus or train.

LaVieTara is easy to reach by plane, as KLM operates a direct flight from Schiphol Airport to Lyon St. Exupéry. From the airport, we can transport the party to our accommodation by coach within two hours.
